China, Dangerous Landscapes is a photographic book by Liu Bolin. Like his camouflage process, the cover is designed in two parts: the background printed on the canvas and the silhouette separated by a transparent jacket. The trilingual work is arranged through a compositional play involving variations in body text and typography. The images—often in panoramic format—are accentuated by long flaps.
