Sunday in Beijing is a photographic book presenting images by the artist Michael Kenna. The book features a series of windows with colored papers, allowing multiple levels of interpretation of the images. On one hand, each photograph is bordered by a bright color that contrasts with its black-and-white tones; on the other hand, the image is directly reframed, creating a book that can be viewed in several ways. Thanks to a gradient effect, the colored pages transition from imperial yellow to communist red.
