Hands of Tokyo presents a collection of 100 photographs of hands taken in the Tokyo underground. They have been meticulously arranged to create a symmetry of posture, accessories and colour. The red cover, the thread trimmer, the sewing thread, the iridescent markings and the pictogram–a direct reproduction of the one used on Tokyo underground tickets–are all in very bold colours, to emphasise the vivid colourimetry of the photographs.
