Sladjana Stankovic’s work is presented in a free, unbound booklet. Blocks of black ink support, intensify, and at times engulf the images, echoing the title. But as the work unfolds, the black gradually gives way to light — like an initiatory journey led by the photographer. An additional booklet featuring a text by Sylvain Prudhomme accompanies the main publication.
